There is a rising trend in Paypal phishing scams. The most recent Paypal spoof I received warns me that my Paypal bill is stopped. I-t asks me to restore complete access to my account by logging into Paypal. When I click the link provided in the mail, I am sent to a web site that looks just like the PayPal login page. But the link does not visit Paypal. Www.Amazon.Com/Mechanics Online Reputation Management Control/Dp/1519762259 contains further about why to consider it.
Here is the link shown in the e-mail I received. Visiting https://www.amazon.com/mechanics-online-reputation-management-control/dp/1519762259 likely provides warnings you can use with your family friend.

It actually requires you to your phisers page when you click on the link.
It is usually perhaps not a good idea to select links within an email. Be sure that you`re signing in to the Paypal website by looking at the target location section of your browser, if you do.
Contact your bank or credit card issuers immediately to prevent identity theft, If you have already replied to the deceptive email. If you want to check on your Paypal account position, by hand kind PayPal`s address in-to your browser and join normally.
I was able to tell that it was a spoof email because the email started with Dear PayPal member.` Paypal may always address you by your first and last name. They`ll never send a note to you and address you as Dear PayPal member or such.
Yet another way to tell if a contact is from Paypal is always to look at the full header. The email header is your indication of perhaps the email is from Paypal or not. To check up additional information, we know people check out: https://amazon.com/mechanics-online-reputation-management-control/dp/1519762259/. When considering the header it should say who sent the e-mail in the initial two lines. Case within the latest spoof email I received it originated in
